Breathe.

Brenda Aimonetti (she/her) is a native Portlander and certified meditation teacher, trained in the ancient Tibetan Buddhist Gelugpa Lineage, the same practice observed by the Dalai Lama.

Having completed a 200-hour training course and 6-month mentorship at Three Jewels in New York City, Brenda opened Future Refuge, which seeks to empower individuals
to cultivate their own sense of strength, safety and happiness, so they can handle life’s challenges with a sense of ease and confidence.

Brenda’s goal is to share the power of a daily meditation practice and help people redefine their outlook — from basic life challenges like becoming more present, to reducing stress, to tuning into their inner wisdom, and eventually, to paving a path for achieving their highest potential.

Through thoughtfully guided meditations, Brenda helps students understand the influence of karma, where every thought and action has a resulting consequence — every cause has its effect — teaching them the tools to create mindful habits that result in positive change.

Students can expect an approachable method for creating a personal meditation practice, free from judgement and helpful to anyone.

Having spent the last 15 years in the experiential marketing world, frequently traveling around the country, speaking with people from a variety of different backgrounds, Brenda learned the importance of making connections, understanding the individual wants and needs of each person, and how to better serve them to make their desires come true.

Brenda continues to study and practice meditation daily, inviting all curious beings, wherever they are in their journey, to explore their minds deeper, together.
